Nothing but trouble 2010-05-09 I bought this laptop nearly a year ago and regret it completely! I can find nothing but faults with it, firstly, screws keep falling out of it, mainly from the screen. Secondly, the disc drive doesn't work that well and makes a lot noise when it's attempting to work. It overheats soo easily and when I rang DELL to sort out problems I had with my battery, I could barely understand the woman on the phone and at the end of a long confusing phone call, the manager asked if I had anything else to say and I replied that I haven't been happy with the product at all, the woman did not seem to care and replied with 'Thankyou for calling.' Simply- if you want a laptop with endless problems then buy this!
Good value 2010-02-26 I bought this item because it was on sale at a discount, no doubt because it has Vista whereas all the new issues have Windows 7. I am used to Vista and it meets my needs quite adequately, so I wasn't bothered.
Great Computer 2010-02-20 A great computer, I am very happy with the product. The exterior looks very stylish, all shiny and sleek and does not scratch easily like my old Amilo. I would recommend this to anybody who wants a basic computer for surfing the net etc. The processor is not the most powerful but I don't use the laptop for work or study, so it is more than sufficient. Great value for money. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! 2010-01-25 I have a DELL Inspiron. The keyboard was broken withn 6 months. I phoned DELL and spent an hour on the phone (premium rate 0870 number). I got transferred to 8 different people andnot one took my name. I ended up hanging up after being on hold for 15 minutes without being spoken to. I have now found many many people who have similar experiences of Dell. They have terrible customer service. Please beware if you are thinking of buying a DELL from Hell.
